UN – Please Stop Humping Climate Change

?

UNITED NATIONS – Floods, droughts and other climate disasters will rob millions of children of the decent meals and schools they need unless rich nations pony up $86 billion by 2015 to help the poor adapt to global warming, an expert panel warned Tuesday.

The U.S. government needs to cover $40 billion of that spending, which will “strengthen the capacity of vulnerable people” to cope with climate-related risks, according to the report commissioned by the U.N. Development Program.

While Climate Change is a real problem, and according to reality, caused by humans, I have seen nothing that states that the dire predictions of what could happen will happen, or is likely to happen.

It makes absolutely no sense for the UN to take possible scenarios, claim them as reality, and then demand money to keep these scenarios from happening.

These are the things that Climate Change deniers latch onto – mostly because they are uneducated when it comes to science, and need something to latch onto – and parade all over the place. See, they can fight alarmist shit like this, even though they can’t fight the science.

Our research of Climate Change needs to be flow and methodical. We need to make sure that everything is done right, and not become alarmist, as the UN has become. Becoming alarmist gives the Climate Change deniers ammo, that they would otherwise not have, seeing as they can’t fight the science.
